Reporting Fraud

 

Fraud is an intentional deception, omission, or misrepresentation made by a person with knowledge that the deception, omission, or misrepresentation may result in unauthorized benefit to that person or another person or any aiding and abetting of the commission of such an act.

If you know of actual, potential, or suspected instances of fraud, program mismanagement, employee misconduct, or management abuse in the operation of department programs by grantees, contractors, or partners and would like to report this to the Office of Inspector General (OIG) you may do so at OIG Fraud Reporting.

Remaining Anonymous

If you wish to remain anonymous, you use the email address info@elc-manatee.org in the “Your Email Address” field. In cases where anonymity is preferred, you may use "NA" in other fields as needed, except for the “Details of suspected fraud being committed” field, which must be completed to ensure your report is processed appropriately. Your cooperation is essential in helping maintain the integrity of our services.
